Señor, tomastes lo que te pertenecia, mi hija, gracias por haberla dejado conmigo durante 19 años, los cuales disfrute tenerla a mi lado. Fue buena hija y educada, trate de esmerarme como madre. Gracias Dios por regalarme esa alegria y aunque derrame lagrimas al entregartela se que esta gozandoze ante tu presencia. Tu comprendes mi dolor y mi sufrir pero esas cargas tu las llevas. Espero algun dia reunirme con ella y mis otros seres queridos. Gracias Dios por todo lo que me has dado.

PFC Glorimar Rivera was born to Ricardo and Sonia Rivera on February 17, 1983 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. Glorimar attended Dunkirk high School in Dunkirk, New York. She graduated en 2001 and enlisted in the Army on July 25, 2001. Upon the completion of Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and the Advanced Individual Training at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama PFC Rivera arrived at Fort Carson, Colorado. She was assigned to the 60th Ordnance Company on January 15, 2002 where she worked at the Ammunition Supply Point. As a soldier she displayed courage, discipline, dedication and stamina.
